In order to strengthen the service we offer to our conference clients and students, Downing College Conferences and Functions has appointed Cristina Whitney as Conference Support and AV Technician. Cristina is responsible for preparing rooms and facilities to meet individual event requirements, as well as setting up any technical equipment needed.
Cristina moved to the UK from the United States shortly after her wedding. In the States Cristina has previously worked at the Majestic Theatre, Texas Scenic Company and the Santa Fe Opera.
Cristina said: "I am really enjoying working with the Conference Team here at Downing College, and helping to deliver excellent service to our clients. Having worked in various theatrical venues across the United States, I relish operating state-of-the-art theatre technology and the Howard Theatre is no exception! I am constantly impressed by the grand yet intimate nature of the Howard Theatre as well as the stunning grounds of Downing College"
