"I just wanted to thank you and your team for yesterday. After a very hectic day, I had been thinking how glad I was to know we were at Downing in the evening - it always goes so well there. And that was true, everything went perfectly. The food and decor was great, the room was cosy and the staff were great. The Grace Howard room obviously isn't as massive and posh as some of the big dining halls BUT, I find it so hard to hear conversations in rooms like that, the acoustics are just so echo-ey so I have to strain to hear people across the table, whereas the Grace Howard room is so conducive to dinner table discussion, I could hear what everyone around the table was saying so it was a lot more relaxing!"
